A wheel thrown stoneware bowl in a rich copper and russet glaze that catches the light with an almost metallic shimmer. The glaze moves from deep reddish brown at the rim to warm copper tones toward the center, shifting depending on how the light hits it. The throwing lines are visible through the glaze which gives it a quiet, handmade quality.
Wide and low with a generous opening. Works beautifully as a fruit bowl, a bread bowl, a catch-all on a kitchen counter, or simply as a decorative piece that earns attention on any surface.
Approximately seven to eight inches across. One of a kind. Once it is gone it is gone.
